I paid for a counter quality replica, meaning the bag is as close to the real deal as possible — if you have been reading the blog in the past you know I do not like to mess up with bad fakes — they are a waste of cash in my view & I am buying the bag to continue so long as the first so I just shop for the very best. The features of this specific bag that make it counter caliber include the leather quality, the hardware quality, the stitching, the inside of the bag, and the general texture of this bag. I will go into detail about those details under:The leather of the bag is real lambskin leather and I must tell you it’s uber supple. Genuine lambskin leather should have a superb buttery texture and the leather on this bag gets a significant pass when it comes to this criteria. The leather is quite comparable to the Chanel classic flap string which should also be super butter-y. Should you purchase a bad fake with imitation leather which would ruin the whole look of the bag as the quality of the leather will be visible from a mile away.Good quality hardware should be as heavy as the first. Some manufacturers have lighter hardware while others have a heavier hardware. Dior is a new that is at the center when it comes to hardware heaviness. The tote also has small pegs at the bottom to prevent it from getting dirty and also prevents the leather from getting scratched. I personally hate it when brands make bags with delicate leather like lambskin and don’t include feet at the base (especially in the event that you end up opting for the true tote and spending 4 grand), but luckily the Lady Dior is none of these bags!

  • There’s a model with the trendiest shoulder strap, and that’s the bag that caught my attention off the bat–that the Bohemian-inspired strap features red canvas adorned with outdated, silver-toned medallions and black lambskin details. It’s the model I need: the classic black lambskin with the updated strap. It feels like that is the sort of bag that’s bringing Dior into the forefront of every celeb’s and handbag fan’s wish list, and I am so pleased to see it happening. The small size is too small for my frame, but there are larger dimensions, which is definitely what I’d choose for if I were to purchase this bag.Speaking of that, if you loved the Dior So Real sunglasses, Dior simply introduced the Dior So Actual Pop Sunglasses, which supply vibrant lenses. I am not cool enough to pull them off, but I love the colors! Purchase via Neiman Marcus for $450. Raf Simons had a very special outlook at Dior in the very beginning: Classy, architectural, innovative and extremely feminine. Logos are a resurgent trend in vogue thanks in large part to brands like Gucci, who are finding ways to blend a winking acknowledgement of ancient 2000s gaudiness with 80s surplus plus a dash of au courant streetwear. Chiuri brings this to a number of brand new Dior bags (several of which signify Chiuri’s influence on Valentino’s recent accessories in her prior position) by means of large, gold Dior logos, spelling out the entire name. Along with this, Chiuri revives the Dior logo jacquard cloth on bags that look like they had been made as it was popular. Part of me needs to scoff at how on-the-nose those bits feel, but in a marketplace with endless appetite for nostalgia, they may just discover their place.

  • Time for round 2 of the summertime hallway ’17 reviews! This time I will be reviewing the Lady Dior tote I purchased. The Lady Dior bag a part of Dior’s classic classics series, and I am sure we can all concur that the background, architecture, and look of this bag all certainly support this. Interesting reality — do you know why the Lady Dior tote is called the Lady Dior tote? Therefore, if you are already fortunate enough to own one of those bags then now you know your bag is steeped in a bit of royal history. And for those who have been coveting the tote — Quite simply dying to get one — it merely gives you an excess reason to move this up in your wishlist!I myself might see why Princess Diana loved the tote. It’s a royal essence for it and I believe it could make the least sophisticated of gals — myself included — look a little more tasteful by sporting this look. As soon as I decided to find the bag I obviously floated towards picking black myself so hey I figure Lady Di and I have something in common when it comes to gravitating towards black accessories! Anyways jokes aside I chose to go to the Lady Dior in the first size in black lambskin (not the miniature or the large) with gold hardware. I adore the appearance of silver hardware onto a Lady Dior too, but for some reason felt that the black really popped out from the black and that I fell in love with the appearance. The original a.k.a authentic variant of the bag retails for around $4,100 USD while I got mine for less than a 1/10 of the at about $400 USD.

  • I will be right up with you: the last time I owned a pink bag was in middle school, when I thought there was nothing cooler than carrying around a Coach pochette from the brand’s classic logo print in vivid pink. I loved this bag, and I used it before the corners were worn and it was on its last leg. I tend to steer towards moderately trendy shapes and bags, but in classic, neutral colors such as black, nude and white. I envy people who are bold enough to take risks and take colorful bags. I truly wish I had been among these folks! I am more than only a jeans-and-tee kinda woman, but you won’t catch me in five-inch pumps daily. My regular look may easily be elevated with a great pop of color, but the closest I have come to color is lusting after a red tote. Pink is really pushing it for me, so I was surprised at how much I loved the Lady Dior Bag in hot pink.I’ve got a critical color crush on this bag, and while it’s not a beat I’m very likely to behave on, I wouldn’t mind someone falling this woman in my doorstep! I’m not at the point in my life however where I am able to purchase more than couple of bags per year, if that, so I tend to steer towards impartial bags. The Lady Dior is high in my list in white or black, but if you are the type to perform colour, this is the way to do it

  • If I have said it once, I have stated it 5,000 timesI just can’t get enough black. Maybe it’s that the New Yorker in me, or maybe it’s just that black always looks so, well, chic. Naturally, when I got a peek of Dior’s Pre-Fall 2018 bags, I could not believe what I found: beautiful black bags with hardware which wasn’t gold, and not silver –it was matte black. I was immediately obsessed, and I could not wait to see these totes in person. My favored of both people got our little paws on is Your Dior Lady Dior Bag. I have always thought of the Lady Dior as delicate and, of course, living up to its title: ladylike. While I get the allure of a super feminine bag, they are not the kind of bags that I typically steer clear of. This edition of this Lady Dior changed all that for me personally, and I must acknowledge that the Lady Dior just went way, way up on my want list.I do not really have words for why I really like this bag so much, aside from the fact that it’s just so freaking cool. I picture myself wearing this many ways, out of jeans, a dressy top and heels into my beloved Levi’s and sneaks–this tote can definitely do everything. Not to mention, this bag is comparatively practical, as it can be hand carried or worn out with the removable shoulder strap, which I just love. This tote is the medium size, so it’s just right and fits pretty much everything you’d need for your day, plus a few extras. I was able to fit in my pocket, sunglasses, and a small cosmetics case, both my work phone and my private phone, and even my camera when the bag was arranged just perfect.

  • On lots of the Lady Dior Bags below, which the manufacturer is calling the My Lady Dior line, you are going to see straps that contain three small metal disks, which is where it is possible to affix the badges of your choosing. When they’re gone, the little metal disks to that they affix do not seem too bad in their own, so having the choice to personalize does not interrupt the bag’s overall layout in any super-noticable way.It is not even unofficially autumn yet, but nevertheless, winter is coming. If you concentrate on the winter handbags, that doesn’t seem like such an ominous guarantee, and thankfully, Dior is here now with its Winter 2016 handbag lookbook to remind us that cold weather is not all bad. After all, it brings with it fresh handbags to ogle.Because this collection was one of the few produced after Raf Simons’ departure and earlier Valentino’s Maria Grazia Chiuri was called the tag’s new creative director, it mostly holds the line on the brand’s bags, with lots of new versions of a few of Dior’s favorites, including the Lady Dior, Diorever and Diorama, plus a few new totes –most importantly, the Lily. Check out all of the pics below.

    • I love that this bag has an inner flap closed, so it’s not completely open on top, meaning your stuff isn’t overly exposed. On the other hand, the flap is very easy to open and get in and out of on the move. Inside, the Lady Dior tote has one interior zip pocket, as well as a slit pocket. Total dimensions of The Dior Medium Lady Dior Bag are 8″H x 9″ W x 4″D, and this matte black on black version retails for $5,900. It’s available mid-May through Dior Boutiques.Next up in my love list from the Dior Pre-Fall 2018 series is Your J’ADIOR Flap Bag. Yet more, this bag proves to be as edgy and super-chic in person as it looks on a screen. The matte black J’ADIOR emblem is in-your-face without really being overtly flashy, and I absolutely adore that. If you are a symbol girl, this is most likely the trendiest way to do one.The tote is the pretty standard flap bag, and it’s fairly comparable in size to most flap bags we have written about recently, but in addition it does expand to fit more than you could think. (See below for what fits!) When you start the flap bag there is a middle compartment, which has two slit pockets on the front and one larger pocket with a flap closure. There is a also a different smaller slit compartment on the front inside of the bag, which is excellent for storing things you reach for on the move, like your cell phone or train tickets. The bag is fairly easy to get in and out of if you are out and around, however it also closes securely by virtue of the magnetic flap. The chain strap acts just as a shoulder strap, and though it can be worn out singled or doubled, it is a bit too short to be worn out cross-body, though Dior’s site does say that it can be worn as such. Overall dimensions of The J’ADIOR Flap Bag are 5″H x 7″W x two ″D, also this matte black on black version retails for $3,600, accessible mid-May through Dior Boutiques.

    • At Dior, the switch out of popular artistic director Raf Simons into Maria Grazia Chiuri, the (also quite popular) co-artistic director at Valentino, was a stark one. No one expected Raf to split after three critically acclaimed decades, and as a consequence of that, there wasn’t any wind down in customer attention and no expectation that a change would be coming. And boydid things change–Chiuri brought with her a version of womanhood substantially different than Simons’s ultra-feminine futurism. Her Dior is much less slick and more casual, and in that casualness, arguably more reflective of how many girls really reside in their clothes in 2018. There were moments of aesthetic turbulence in making that change, but at the newly debuted Cruise 2019 collection, Dior has once more found its altitude. As much as bags go, the runway collection is comparatively short on Dior classics, although they’ll obviously be in the complete assortment that arrives in stores. Rather, Chiuri took the chance to both stoke the resurrection of the Dior Saddle Bag, found here in both logo and heavily embellished forms, in addition to a simple, new east-west satchel and saddle (lowercase S) bag. The implementation of them is solid and sleek, and they are a good counterpart to some of the line’s more logo-heavy options. Have a look at behind-the-scenes photos of the group’s accessories, directly from Dior, below.

    • What was most interesting to me, however, was how a number of those totes felt anything like the Dior that gained so much fame with accessories shoppers in the past couple of years. In addition to the bags which harkened back to the early 2000s and 1980s, there have been many that seemed farther in the past, so far as the 1950s. This was a massively important time for Dior, of course, but it is not one we have frequently seen reflected at the brand’s modern bags. This new dimension in the Lady Dior lineup offers a long shoulder strap which may be personalized with three Lucky Badges. Once you pick the ideal color for you–there are ample hardware and leather choices –pick three Lucky Badges to produce the bag your own. Three badges are included in the price of the bag, but you could always add additional ones to change up your bag’s appearance and reflect your fashion for this day. Personalization is a massive fad in high-end fashion, but it can present something of a logistical problem with specific kinds of designer bags. Accessories shoppers are more inclined to view their purchases because of a long-term investment within their wardrobes, especially in regards to specific classic bags which retain their value well at resale or that might be passed to a daughter or niece. Along with all of the bags in Dior’s Cruise 2017 collection, that are available now, the brand has a notion about non-permanent personalization in Dior Lucky Badges.
